Polissya was competing for a spot in European competitions but lacked a starting XI level striker to convert their chances. With the right player in that position, their chances of finishing in the top four and qualifying for Europe did increase significantly.

The club was ready to make a record investment in a foreign player, so scouting had to be flawless. The new striker needed to excel in finishing and adapt quickly to the team's high-pressing style, proving effective in a demanding, intense system during wartime.

Thanks to the persistence of PASS Scouting, Facundo Batista was found at his peak, experienced in the Copa Libertadores semifinals. Result
Batista scored 7 goals and provided 1 assist in 15 matches, all decisive. He helped Polissya reach the Ukrainian Cup semi-final (historical achievement for a club) and finish fourth, qualifying for European competitions. After six months, he was sold to a top Colombian club, recovering the transfer cost.
